In Pawhuska, Oklahoma!

Did you know?

While Bob Wills had his Texas Playboys, and he may have had his San Antonio Rose -- it was Oklahoma that put the smile in his style and the "haw" in his chaw as he sang, "Take Me Back to Tulsa" from Pawhuska, Oklahoma in a little place called Whiting Hall!

Whiting Hall still stands on Kihekah Avenue downtown, and now houses county offices - BUT - the old tiles on the floor with musical notes engraved on them tell of yesteryear when the King of Western Swing walked those floors!

I guess you can take the Hall out of the dance, but you can't take the dance out of the Hall - Whiting Hall, that is!

tickets go on sale may 1st!
